Pros and cons of iFinance 4 app for iPhone and iPad

iFinance 4 app good for

So nice to see a new release of a great software product. Been using the previous version for about 3 years now. This is a huge improvement. My reviews have been fluid, adapting as updates are released. A few suggestions going forward I think would be nice. - The ability to submit a bug or feedback from within the iOS app - Ability to initiate all syncing from the finance menu, positioned in the same general vicinity of where the OFX sync feature is.
Im using both iFinance 4 on desktop and the mobile app syncing thru iCloud. This app does pretty much everything that the desktop does which is terrific, and its handy to keep an eye on and update finances on the go! The watch app doesnt always sync to give the latest info so one star deducted - will add that back when its fixed, but overall a really solid finance app!
iFinance has lots of great features. The ones I use the most are downloading transactions from all my banks via OFX/QFX files, syncing my data to iCloud so that I can use iFinance on my iPad, iPhone &  Watch, and setting up budgets to track my spending. The only thing thats missing is multi-tasking support. I really wish that I could have iFinance on one side of the screen, and Safari on the other while I work on my finances. I like to have lots of details about my finances and iFinance lets me do that. iFinance is especially strong in letting me manage cash, credit, savings, and checking accounts. You can track stocks and mutual funds, but theres currently no way for me to import stock data (the developers said theyd look into adding this feature). I also really appreciate that I can use iCloud to sync my financial data between my Mac, iPhone,  Watch, and iPad. It lets me keep track of my finances no matter where I am. I also prefer to use iCloud since I have more control over my data, compared to other using other companies cloud services.
I purchased this app for ease of OFX access. The OFX stopped working last week. I went to the bank and found they had changed many perimeters and entered them, it still didnt work. Went to the creators of ifinance4 and they had me change a small bit of access information and it worked. The customer support was fabulous, very quick and accurate.

Some bad moments

This release (4.1) has many bugs. - When i try to change view transaction (mounth ex.) the app crashed; - When i receive one alert (WhatsApp ex.) the app crashed; - The ListView transaction title is terrible to read (iPhone 6S Plus ex.); Please, we need a more stable release!!!
Dears, Im a long term user of iFinance program. The brand new version with normal cloud sync was waited for a long time. Immediately after iFinance 4 release Ive bought both versions for my iPhone 6 Plus, iPad mini and Mac. First two days with the new version show me that current realization of iCloud sync mechanism is just a big fail. What happens in a real usage: I enter operations in one of my devices and after that open application at another one (the order is not important). Instead of loading the changes from iCloud the second device starts to upload its old database to iCloud. As a result all my new entries are lost. Right now I am writing this after loosing nearly 30 entries in database. I think that this is a very serious problem which makes the usage of this app impossible. Please fix it ASAP. Other requests for further versions: - add the possibility to duplicate budgets in iOS version - add the iPad-like landscape mode for iPhone 6 Plus Right now I score this version only at 2 stars due to iCloud sync epic fail
I have no idea how the app functions once it is set up because I cannot set it up. It will not login to my bank and has repeatedly locked my account with too many failed login attempts (evidently hitting “go” once causes it to try 3 or more times, hence the multiple lockouts). I want my $5 back.
I have purchased iFinance for Mac and for iOS. Sync between both apps is working perfectly. I can even receive my bank data by OFX import. Love the charts and diagrams. And I am now aware of the fact that I could save almost 400 bucks a month - if I quit smoking :-)
Every time I try to set up my bank account it crashes. why does it ask for a pin when I just have passwords - Ive enter my PW to no avail. When I click on Show Manual I get. Blank. Either show how it works or refund my money.
Cant get it to set-up. Always returns message" cant interpret bank message" when it tries to connect. I have deleted the app - Refund my money... Ill go back to Quicken!
